I began the early a.m. walk (3 miles or so) to docent training at the Museum of Northern Arizona. Stopped in tracks like boy on way to school by strange and fascinating tracks in frozen snow melt puddles. Mountains, weathered boards, fluffy cat, cat woman holding skeletal globe aloft, shadows, on I walked, body warming as I went. Grand Canyon 74 miles, Museum 1500 feet. Plenty of time. Explored creek to left. Found deer carcass. A young deer splayed, head still there. Clambered up banks, walked on. Museum of Northern Arizona! Great pics! Glad we can still enjoy your adventures. That is one fat cat in the photo!
