The story told is that this pigeon slammed into the pane at the FMC bridge, shat all over himself, thus creating the ghost image. Sounds surrealistic to me. Can one shit one's image as one dies?
Incredible image, George! Have seen similar on my Flagstaff home's windows, but not this detailed or complete. Poor bird. Assumed the image resulted from dust transferred from the bird to the window after it acquired that dust from a dust bath.

ReplyDeletewhy not?

Threatening bird images keep other little birds from flying into the glass. Owls are good.

People shit their images all the time - from their mouths in the form of opinions and biases.
ReplyDeleteGary, thanks, that makes good sense.
